I’ve been using Kapwing for AI generated videos. I’ve been experimenting with launching one of those “Automated YouTube Channels”, only instead of farming my content creation to a bunch of contractors online, I am trying to do it all in house, truly automatically.
Kapwing can be used for more than Automated YouTube channels though.
You can take your blog text, feed it into Kapwing AI Video Script Generator, and it will generates a video script format from it.
You can then take that script and load it into the AI video generator, and presto-chango, you now have a video!
You choose the output format for you desired platform. It can create formats compatible with all common video platforms — YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, 16:9, 1:1, etc.
Two steps, and it’s ready to put your finishing touches on.
Kapwing includes a fully featured online video editor with access to loads of stock footage, photos, audio, and more.
If you have already created your video in a particular format, you don’t need to recreate it for every format.

How does it compare?
I’ve tested a number of other “AI Video Generators”, and they are either novelty — making those weird deep-learning style videos with lots of funny video artifacts, blobs, and mutated carnival fingers (like Stable Diffusion video generators) — or they try to do what Kapwing is doing and assemble stock footage and clips together coherently with voiceover.
The others I have tried, have failed.
Those following my Medium stories might remember me using Images made with something called “FlexClip”.
That was AI video generator software I was testing and it was pretty bad.
In comparison to Kapwing — it was useless. I could only get it to give me usable images. So I no longer use it.
Kapwing is truly on another level.
And, they have a cool story, and have been building this tool for a while.
