Thank you to everyone who visited my website and tested my bot over the weekend. Your convos are immensely valuable and are helping me uncover the weak points in his training and correct them.
Last night he went down. Then I looked at the traffic this morning. Nice.
There were 96 people conversing with last night, the most ever — and from the looks of it, at least 70 of them at the same time.
What other employee can do that?
Don’t worry, he can handle it — I just haven’t migrated the bot into my account where I have to start paying for message quota.
So Digital Morton hit a wall.
His quota was restarted this morning.
Until I can coax him into accurate responses the way I desire, I am fine with him being “offline” to visitors sometimes. I don’t want to start paying for Digital Morton’s convos until he can actually handle them properly.
Some people are telling me I am crazy for putting this bot on my main website while trying to build an audience.
Showing people that my bot …. doesn’t quite work — might harm the perception of my automation skills. I am not even really driving traffic to my personal website yet. So no worries folks.
I am trying new things. Big new things.
I want to train this bot and have it ready, or put him on the sidelines if I need to - when I start running ads for my book. That starts in 3 weeks.

These are simple little retail support bots and they perform wonderfully. They only take a handful of days to train and they are generally very stable.
Digital Morton is another monster entirely and particularly challenging. I’m not even sure that this version of GPT is capable of what I am trying to accomplish here yet, or if I need to wait until later versions become better.
It is very proving very difficult to train a cross-disciplinary tutor bot that is simultaneously limited to providing my affiliate links and staying on track with products I actually know about and promote.
I may need to create separate bots for both of my automation niches, much like I have done with my mailing list recently.
I don’t want to do that, but it may be needed.
I have to think about that, because I really want this thing to be a one-stop tutor that is capable of helping people with all the platforms that I can assist with.
So far it’s looking like the more training I feed Digital Morton, the more information he gobbles, the less stable he becomes.
