My Newest Automated Print on Demand Shop
Store theme : Raunchy Innuendos through a ridiculous Dad Joke filter.
The Image Machine
This particular shop is a little less automated than my other more artsy clothing store, in that I have to curate and be part of the design process as it’s happening. It becomes a full workday, but a workday well spent laughing my ass off.
All graphics are still generated by AI, using a few key prompts; the secret sauce of all AI generation, and now thanks to Ideogram AI, the text is perfect too (about 80% of the time). Yes, Artificial Intelligence not only made the graphics, it generated the text too. I am using the Ideogram API in my workflows.
The Joke Machine
When I first started this project last week, my prompting was kind of weak, and I was getting very repetitive output, the same jokes repeatedly, not enough variance to just let it rip.
I found a way to generate random jokes without being repetitive, and the way I designed my workflow logic is borrowed from a favorite childhood pasttime activity — Madlibs. It blends and mashes up content from different sources, creating entirely new jokes (or, wacky variations of known jokes).
The joke generator creates about 60–70% totally useless jokes with broken context, so I put a sleeper module in between the joke generator and the Image generator. This allows me to review the joke, and if it doesn’t make any sense or just isn’t funny, I stop the scenario and restart it, preventing the wasting of my image generation credits.
I am using Make for my workflows.

Do you remember Madlibs?
Those silly books with blank nouns, verbs, etc, and we all went around blurting out words that would later be filled in and cause riotous laughter when just the right combo made the funny 10x more hilarious?

That is basically how I am creating these. I’m using Open AI modules in Wondr AI to generate randomized innuendoes, then I use Google Sheets loaded with double entendres and sexual puns, and it is mashing them up and creating some very interesting results.
One google sheet to hold a list of already existing raunchy jokes, puns, etc, and another google sheet to store all the jokes generated by my AI dirty joke generator. If an image turns out to be unusable, I still have the joke on file to attempt re-generating the image later.
My Joke Shirt Generator is being tweaked and refined, and I intend to offer it for sale as soon as I nail a few more varieties of it.
In Summary; I spent most of yesterday laughing and cranking out shirts.
AI generated 200 shirts in a single day, and today I am on track for the same. I want to have 500 shirts in my store by the end of day 3, which is more than attainable.
Here ya go, a few selections from my new ridiculous store, enjoy! >>>
