I’ve only captured about $170 between my BTC and ETH bots in the last few days, and instead of letting them roll, I stopped, and reconfigured.

I had the opportunity to catch a full 1% at least 2 times, BUT — my bots were configured at 0.5% / 0.5%, due to the previous flatter condition leading into this last weekend, so they only captured 0.5% when they maxed their positions (which is $50 combined with a few smaller gains in the initial rounds)

I did a little reading into the recent price history, and instead of widening my spread into a full “set it and forget it” mode, I decided to widen my percentages, but shrink my total buys.

We are bouncing in about a 5% range in the longer term, but regularly bouncing 1% or greater.

So I set my bots to ride about 5% range, trading on larger buy/sells.

1% / 1% and only 5 buys instead of 7, to put more of my money into action each buy.

This means when my bot maxes out, then bounces back to a sell, I should snag $100 on that.

Sigh.

All of my plans this week are in mobile range, so I am going to play day trader while I do summer things.

I know I said I was going to set it and forget it, but judging by how often I’m having to coax my bots into capture this week, probably a good idea that I keep an eye on them.

I’m out on Lake Steel this morning.

This spot is a little urban, but they stock the trout like crazy in April for a kids fishing tournament, so it’s great fishing in May-June.

As of now, my BTC and ETH bots are in active range and creeping towards full position, and I am hoping they max out, then bounce back up.
