Pionex Crypto Trading Bot User Guide —Chapter 2 — Create a Bot
Bots, Sorted by Ideal Market Conditions
This book will cover each trading bot in detail, but first let’s get familiar with the Pionex bot interface, and a few basic options.
When you are inside the Create a Bot panel, you will see many options but at the very top you will find what look like keywords in bubbles.
The first option, Strategy, is unique in that it is set up for long term strategy rather than profiting on short term price fluctuation. All the bots displayed here are long-term gains bots for those with their skin in the game.
The other options presented are market conditions, and each category displays the best types of trading bots for short term gains in each market condition. Sideways, Bullish, and Bearish.
Select Strategy, and your options are reduced to showing only the Moon Bots and the Growth Bot.
Next, if you select Sideways, you will see the list of the best bots for market conditions that flatter and less volatile.
These bots can also be good for volatile markets operating within the price range defined in your configuration.
This includes the Grid Bot, Martingale Bot, and Smart Trade Bot.
Bullish — Here you will find the list of the best bots for market conditions that are trending upward. In conditions where the market spontaneously takes off, these bots are excellent for capturing those movements.
Grid bot, Rebalancing bot, Infinity Grid, and the Trailing Sell.
Bearish — when the market takes a dump, many people panic. But, not you. You are using bots set up and ready to capture on downward trends, so no panic for you. Remember, buying the dip can be automated, too!
Now that you’ve seen the way you can sort the bots by market condition, lets go through each bot, one by one, starting with the Sideways bots!
Chapter 2 Key Points:
The Create Bot screen categorizes bots according to which market condition they work better with
Strategy bots really mean (Long Term) strategy.
