Crypto Trading Bot Update — Sniffing for Signals
A snapshot of my last month:
Not much has changed since my last crypto bot update post — I am holding the ETH and BTC that was running in two bots and staking ETH for interest while in drawdown on them.
I have two Martingale bots still running, one that is inactive because it was dropped off at the All Time High and now it’s out of range (my parallel test bot), and another that keeps running like a champ because I widened my spread, but hasn’t been as nearly profitable due to the recent downtrends, my attention being on other adventures like Fully Automated Print on Demand, and the loss of a reliable signal.
Crypto Whale Watching; Trading Signals — Futures Price Notifications
A curious phenomena I’ve noticed….
^ My whale watching story doesn’t get many reads, but it really should. I cannot stress enough that having this signal was key to knowing when to change my bot settings, and it kept me from drawdown many times.
SIGNALS are the sauce when it comes to knowing WHEN to adjust the settings on the bots.
I’ve had several signal sources that have come and gone. Before the Whale Watching signal source, I had an SMS signal that was about 70–80% reliable.
The Whale Watching signal source was the most reliable so far, and rather unconventional and accidental. I installed a new exchange app (XT) so I could sell some DCR that I had (not all exchanges have DCR), and somehow ended up opting into futures notifications. Only, instead of just notifying me for specific coins, the XT app gave me notifications for…. all of them.
Now, the app is no longer behaving this way. I have tried to see if I could get the same results by settings notifications for lots of different cryptos, no luck. Delete, Reinstall, heck I even tried wiping my iphone and installing fresh. A recent update must have changed whatever it was doing. I no longer receive a useful cascade of notifications blowing up my phone.
Now, I receive one notification — only for coins I watch. Damn.
Without having a signal to know when to widen my spread, I end up in drawdown more often than I’d like to.
To fix this, I am on the hunt to find multiple reliable signal sources so that when one goes down, I still have other reliable sources!
First I went to my Chatbot, Digital Morton — and I asked him.
I didn’t just create my chatbot for customer support— I created it to be MY tutor. I just make it available to everyone else because it’s convenient and helpful, (and it makes a great passive affiliate marketer). Sometimes you have to tell him to stop giving links and tell him to walk you through something, and he will!
Digital Morton provided some actionable items, and I intend to follow up in Trading View and CryptoHopper to see if I can make a workable signal very soon. You can find Digital Morton on my website :

In the meantime, I also found a possible new signal in another unexpected place.
Do you remember that software platform that I promote because it sells lifetime licenses?
App Sumo has a listing right now that I just purchased yesterday, Fox Signals.
To be clear, I am not recommending this app or it’s signals just yet, but because many of these lifetime licenses are time sensitive, I am sharing it in case this turns out to be a golden nugget. The reviews are ALL positive. That is RARE for any piece of software on App Sumo, even really good stuff.
App Sumo has a way of vetting reviewers — you can see how much software the user has purchased with their account, and if they leave reviews and comments, and you can see if they are active on App Sumo. Many of the comments and reviews are from people who have an established presence on App Sumo.
That is what made me buy in, immediately.

I am going to be testing FoxSignals in the next few weeks to see if I can actually start playing in the margin trading sandbox and be successful.
I have tried a few telegram based signal sources, no luck.
A few SMS notification updates from course creators who claim to offer signals, no avail.
How am I testing?
At first, I just watch the signal, then watch the crypto. Simple as that.
If the price behaves as expected, I take note.
If it doesn’t, I take note.
So far, most of the signal sources I have tested haven’t been very impressive. 50–60% is not what I am batting for. I might as well just be looking at the day chart and taking an educated guess.
I am hoping that Fox Signals lives up to what it claims — 90%+ success rate, and of course, using AI to analyze the market and sniff on these opportunities.
Before I can officially recommend the Fox Signals app, I have to test it, but that will take time — I am not just going to have a few successes and call it a win.
I am going to spend 2 weeks watching the signals, and if the coins do as expected, then I am going to start small by testing small balances.
No more than $100 at first. That is my rule.
Then, if I can successfully use leverage to increase my balances with these signals, I will post new stories about it, documenting it along the way.
Note : Until this point, I have avoided Futures trading because I regard it as a form of calculated high-stakes gambling.
The big kicker though — is the signal, how reliable it is, how much I trust it.
As with any new adventure, best to start small, test the waters, and wade into the deep only if I feel SAFE enough to do so.
I will likely use Margin trading with solid signals to recoup my recent drawdowns and then start new martingale bots when I cross that threshold, but I will also start to focus a little more on creating signal bots.
If Fox Signals proves worthy and successful, I won’t just stop with Fox Signals. Any reliable signal that is dependent on a service or developers — can be here one day, and gone the next. So it is best to have a few sources, so that you are never in a spot with no sources.
Trading without solid signals is starting to seem like a boat with a weak rudder. Yeah, we can still make it to destination, but we are definitely going to go off course and have to correct more often that way.
I will be sure to keep you updated on my hunt for new working signals, especially when I find more working signals!
