BTC Trading Bot Update March 1st- 2024

BTC upward momentum is slowing a bit, here is how I am responding.

Yesterday I watched BTC struggle to push up and my Martingale bot was sitting at $150 profit or so for most of the day, bouncing around well under my total capture.

($530 was captured by yesterday morning, then I was immediately in relative drawdown for most of the day/night following.)

When I woke up this morning, BTC was tip-toeing back up to $62500, I waited until my profit hit $600, then I slammed stop, took profits in USDT, and restarted the bot with slightly different configuration.

I am anticipating a slight dip or a flat movement before the next round of moving upward.

In order to capture profit better in this condition, I reduced my sell % back down to 1%, while keeping my price scale at 0.5%, and my total buys set to 5.

Slightly wider spread (but not much), and the bot will be selling faster because I anticipate fewer spontaneous spikes at the moment. (I could be wrong, but we shall see)

I did this based on a look at the last 24 hours moving average.

If BTC remains at a more gradual climb, these settings will be better.

If another 2–3% price spike happens, AND we do not fall back to $58k, I will reconfigure the bot as it was before, with a 2% profit take.

Right now, my bot profit is running neck and neck with my holding balance.

My 10k holding is now about $10,700, which is an increase of $700 when BTC is sitting at $62000, and I have captured $600 with the bot.
