Am I in Texas Now? Because Everything is All Flat-BTC Trading Bot Update March 9th-2024

I was able to capture about $40 profit yesterday before stopping and reconfiguring slightly.
In the time since, we have had almost no price action.
BTC has fluctuated within a $500 range. Stalled out it seems.
Flatter than an interstate highway in Texas.
I could re-adjust and try to capture some of the micro-fluctuation again, but it would be going even lower than 0.5% price scale and 0.5% price sell.
There are three reasons why I wonāt do that.
I could only capture about $20ā40 in a day, if that.
That would be a lot of risk for the sake of capturing that $20ā40.
I want to go fishing, and donāt want to worry about my bot jumping out of range.
The bot could jump suddenly again, or move faster, and then it will be a good thing that I am configured with a much wider range, set to capture 1% on every sell.
I am set to capture on a drop all the way back to 63k. I will keep my bot configured on this wider spread for now.
There are also a few external signals that say we might see some jumps again soon.
Not the least of which being BlackRockās intent to use their Bitcoin ETF in a global allocation fund.

No idea when that will go down, but sometimes buzz is all that matters for a little movement.
If we were fluctuating within a $1000 range, sure, Iād probably readjust my settings to try to snag some of that movement.
But we have been resting on 68000ā68500 for about 24 hours now.
My bot hasāt seen a sell, and hasnāt gone much above $3 -+ in either direction.
To capture that Iād have to have 0.3% price scale, and 0.3% sell, and maybe 3ā4 buys.
Even then, the percentage movement on my 10k would only mean $30 per sell, and thats IF the sell happens. Iād have to babysit and try to capture a lot of that manually.
I am going to keep my bot set wide.
If not, no worries. I really donāt want to babysit my bot all weekend.
