Disclaimer: I have NO IDEA if any of these mobile-phone mineable cryptos will ever amount to anything. It would be neat if they do, but if not - I’m still totally willing to test it for fun because it takes no money, no time, and pretty much no effort. Like a free lottery ticket — why not?
BDAG is a new crypto that anyone can mine from their mobile phone, and much like Pi-Network, it’s a consensus mechanism and does not consume your battery or heat up your phone. There are no processes running and it doesn’t eat up your memory. You just open the app every 24 hours and swipe to activate the mining.
It is a network mining app just like Pi— the goal being to distribute your referral code and create groups of miners mining together who all increase each others daily output.
No Ads. Yet.
One key difference I notice with BDAG — they don’t put advertisements in my face.
Zero ads in this mining experience. So far….
Pi-Network has left a lot of people wondering about the ads. They are generating revenue that way without a doubt, and some assume that this was the entire point of the coin, just to get a bunch of people viewing ads which definitely pay the creators of Pi, while Pi has yet to become exchangeable in the crypto market for it’s users.
Which leaves me wondering, how is BGAG raising money?
Well, it looks like they are playing in the sandbox already and are launching as a normal crypto with a pre-sale open.

Replacing Pi, or ….Mine Both?
Ever since Pi-network had it’s price shake up earlier this year and I had to face the reality that the value of the Pi I was holding is likely going to be MUCH less than I anticipated, I decided to look for other mobile phone mineable cryptos.
I suppose somehow this transmitted in the Aethyr because a facebook friend shared me this link literally on the day I was searching for them.
I am still mining Pi until the end of the year, and might continue IF they launch their Open Network as they say they will be later this year.
Who knows what the valuation will be when that happens, but I am holding almost 5900 Pi right now.
Open Network = we can buy and sell Pi, move it around, etc. In short, Pinocchio becomes a real boy!
If Open Network doesn’t happen, I’ll like stop paying any attention to Pi.

So far, BGAG one is pretty interesting.
Prettier graphics when you launch the app. No ads. Networked mining. And a Pre-Sale open!
So you can get into this one via mining, or your wallet, but I’m going to only mine this one until I can see a good reason to put real money into it.
Though the crypto is active and available for Pre Sale, there is still no proper listing of it with CoinMarketCap, or other websites I trust.
Until I get more validation of BlockDAG via collaboration with other projects and listing on sites like CoinMarketCap, I’m only going to mine it.
Mining consumes no resources, costs nothing, and doesn’t any my time to keep it going.
